I avoid eggs/paneer sometimes too — what helped me was leaning on lentils, chickpeas/peanuts, millets and seeds so breakfasts feel “normal” and actually stick till lunch. A few weekday-friendly ideas that are tiffinable or quick to reheat: - Moong-sprout or moong-dal cheela (make batter night before). Cook fast on a pan, stuff with chutney or roasted peanuts. Packs well. - Besan chilla with grated veg + a spoon of flax/chia seeds. Fast and filling. Make a batch and reheat on a skillet. - Leftover chole/rajma wrapped in a whole-wheat roti or stuffed paratha. Reheat the curry, fill the roti, done. - Millet upma (bajra/jowar/foxtail millet) cooked with lots of peanuts and veggies — more filling than plain semolina. - Sambar with idli or dosas — sambar adds the legume protein and reheats nicely. Or make a sambar rice for the tiffin. - Overnight oats with milk/yogurt, nut butter, and a handful of roasted peanuts or makhana for crunch (sweet or savory versions). - Quick hummus/peanut-chutney + veggie sandwich or chapati roll. Peanut chutney especially keeps you full and travels well. - Khichdi with extra moong/chana dal and a sprinkle of roasted chana/peanuts on top for texture. Small,

Short evidence-based rule: pair a good protein source with fibre and a little healthy fat — protein and viscous fibre raise satiety. Practical options: besan or moong chillas (make batter ahead), sprouted moong salad or upma with peas+peanuts, poha with roasted peanuts, khichdi (mixed dal+rice or millets), idli/dosa + sambar or peanut/coconut chutney, oats/millet porridge with milk/yogurt and nuts, hummus/chickpea spread on whole‑grain roti, roasted chana or mixed nuts as sides. Prep hacks: soak/sprout pulses overnight, batch-cook dals, freeze stuffed parathas or chilla batter, and pack chutneys/peanut mixes separately for quick assembly.
