Non-refrigerated high-protein snacks that survive Indian summers — what do you actually bring to work?

My office doesn’t have a reliable fridge and summers here are humid. I’m trying to carry snacks that add protein and don’t turn soggy or smelly after a few hours. Roasted chana and peanut chikki worked sometimes, but I’m curious about real experiences: what have you actually packed that kept texture, taste and filled you up? Any packing or local options that surprised you?

Quick, practical guidance: prefer dry, oil‑roasted or dehydrated protein that tolerates heat; avoid dairy/eggs/meat left unrefrigerated for more than ~2 hours (even less in hot/humid conditions). Good choices: roasted chana/chickpeas, roasted moong dal, roasted soy nuts/soya granules, sattu (dry powder to mix later), peanut or sesame (til) chikki/laddoo, mixed nuts & seeds (almond, pumpkin), commercial protein bars or commercially cured jerky. Packing tips: airtight containers or ziplocks, small absorbent paper or silica sachet to cut humidity, use an insulated pouch + ice pack only if you can ensure cold chain. Combine legumes + nuts for better satiety/amino balance and rotate stocks to avoid rancidity.
