Leftover curry for lunch — one quick add-in you use to boost protein?

If you take leftover dal, sabzi or rice as a work tiffin, it can feel carb-heavy and light on protein. What single, fast thing do you usually add before leaving the house to make it more filling and travel-friendly? (Boiled egg, paneer cubes, roasted chana, tuna, or something else — what actually works for you?)

Roasted chana — I just sprinkle a small handful into the tiffin. No refrigeration, no leaking, adds crunch and keeps me full longer. (If I have fridge access that day I’ll swap for cubed paneer or a boiled egg, but chana is my go-to when mornings are rushed.)

Practical rule: aim for ~20–30 g protein per meal. Fast, portable add-ins (approx. protein): 1 boiled egg ~6–7 g; 30–50 g paneer ~8–12 g; 30 g roasted chana ~6–8 g; 150 g Greek/hung curd ~8–12 g; 1 small tuna can ~20–25 g; 2 tbsp peanut/groundnut chutney ~6–8 g. Combine with dal/rice for complementary amino acids. Keep perishables chilled or use an insulated box/ice pack to avoid spoilage.
