Do you let your watch decide today's workout, or go by how you feel?
My watch now shows sleep score, HRV and a "readiness" number — some mornings it flags low readiness and I skip heavy lifts; other times I ignore it. What do you do on busy workdays or while travelling: change the session because of the data, or trust how your body feels? Any times the watch was helpful or just noisy?

Wearables are helpful but noisy: HRV/readiness are best for multi‑day trends, not a single-number dictate. Practical approach: (1) Check symptoms first — fever, sore throat, unusual fatigue = rest. (2) If low readiness but you feel OK, choose lower volume/intensity (shorter session, lighter loads, steady cardio, mobility). (3) If high readiness but low time, do a brief intense session (20–30 min). (4) Account for confounders (travel, caffeine, alcohol, time zone) and use baseline trends rather than one-off drops. Combine objective data with RPE, sleep hours, mood and soreness to decide.
